Required column names:
- ra (float64): right ascension of source, J2000 deg
- dec (float64): declination of source, J2000 deg
- sourcetype (string): type of source

direction (N positive);
used if PMTYPE equals COMPONENTS in the
appropriate line of the ancillary-bossN file
- epoch (float32): epoch of given RA and DEC, in years (used as zero-point
when correcting for proper motions); either this or "mjd_r" should be
set if proper motions are supplied
- mjd_r (float32): epoch of given RA and DEC, in modified
Julian date days (used as zero-point
when correcting for proper motions); either this or "epoch" should be
set if proper motions are supplied
