- run (int32): SDSS drift scan run number
- rerun (string): reprocessing number
- camcol (int16): camera column
- field (int32): field number
- mjd (int32): date of observation, coarse
- tai[5] (float64): date of observation of this field, in
TAI.
- ra (float64): center of field in RA, J2000 degrees
- dec (float64): center of field in Dec, J2000 degrees
- node (float64): node of great circle, that is, its RA on the J2000 equator
- incl (float64): inclination of great circle relative to J2000 equator
- xBore (float64): boresight offset perpendicular to great circle (deg)
- mu_start (float64): start of field in stripe coords
(parallel to scan direction)
- mu_end (float64): end of field in stripe coords
(parallel to scan direction)
- nu_start (float64): start of field in stripe coords
(perpendicular to scan direction)
- nu_end (float64): end of field in stripe coords
(perpendicular to scan direction)
- xBin (int32): binning amount perpendicular to scan direction (pix)
- yBin (int32): binning amount in scan direction (pix)
- ifindx (int32): first entry for this field in the window_findx.fits file matching the
fields to balkans
- nbalkans (int32): number of balkans contained in this
field (and corresponding number of entries in window_findx.fits
- psf_fwhm[5] (float32): seeing in this field
- skyflux[5] (float32): mean sky flux in this field
- sun_angle (float32): altitude of Sun at time of
observation (deg)
- photo_status (int32): status reported by the
fpFieldStat files
- psp_status[5] (int32): status reported by the psField
file
- image_status (int32): image status bitmask
- calib_status (int32): calibration status bitmask
- score (float32): Quality score of field (0-1)
For IDL users, the photoop utility "window_read" can be used to
read in the field list.
