Data model: template

General description: This file is the template data model file. It is meant as a guideline to how to write each data model file. The main categories (in bold) should be respected, but extra information can be included as appropriate.

Naming convention: template.html (describe how this file name is determined, at least generally; use datamodel rules, like specifying variables as all caps, with appended integer if number of digits is fixed: e.g. RUN6)

Approximate size: 20 kbytes.

File type: HTML (can be one of "HTML", "Yanny", "FITS", "CSV")

Read by products: sas (can be any set of product names)

Written by products: sas (can be any set of product names)

Required header keywords: (should be listed for Yanny and FITS)

• keyword1 (type): description of meaning of value (header keywords are always strings: type is how we should interpet it: ("string", "float32", "float64", "int32", "int64")
• keyword2[N] (type): description of meaning of array of values (if it can consist of multiple entries, indicate it is array)

Optional header keywords: (indicate if extra keywords is a violation)

• keyword1 (type): description of meaning of value and default value
• keyword2[N] (type): description of meaning of array of values and defaults

Required column names: (should be listed for Yanny and FITS)

• tag1 (type): description of meaning of value (type indicates data type as above)
• tag2[N] (type): description of meaning of array of values (unlike header keywords, should specify N for these)

Optional column names: (should be listed for Yanny and FITS)
